Rudolph van der Meulen is an architect and décor specialist known for his creative approach to luxury residential design. With over two decades of experience, he has helped redefine contemporary architecture, pushing boundaries with innovative solutions.

After completing his Master of Architecture at the University of Pretoria, Rudolph joined his family’s practice, Nico van der Meulen Architects, in 2004. Working alongside his father, brother, and wife, he has been involved in designing more than 50 luxury homes and multi-residential projects.

His work has earned recognition, including the Archilovers Best Project of the Year Award in 2017 for the Forrest Road House, and has been featured in international publications.

Rudolph’s design philosophy revolves around improving the world through thoughtful solutions, always exploring new ways to address challenges. He is known for balancing the big picture with a strong focus on detail, consistently pushing beyond conventional ideas to find unique approaches.

Beyond architecture, Rudolph’s passion for improving environments extends to outdoor spaces, where he applies his design principles to trail building—an outlet for his creativity and love for nature.
